1. Introduction

Switle ("we", "our", "the platform") is a debt recovery automation service operated by Neuroroot Group, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our service.

2. Information We Collect

Merchant information: Business name, WhatsApp number, M-Pesa number, and business category provided during registration.

Debt information: Debtor names, phone numbers, amounts owed, and payment history entered by merchants. This information is provided by and belongs to the merchant.

Communication data: WhatsApp message content between the bot and debtors, used solely to facilitate debt recovery.

Payment data: Transaction records processed through ClickPesa payment gateway.

3. How We Use Information

• To send automated payment reminders to debtors on behalf of merchants

• To process payments through ClickPesa and distribute commission splits

• To provide merchants with recovery reports and analytics

• To improve our AI conversation quality and recovery rates

• We do NOT sell individual merchant or debtor data to third parties

• We do NOT share debtor information with any party other than the merchant who entered it

4. WhatsApp Messaging

Switle sends WhatsApp messages to debtors on behalf of merchants. Merchants confirm at the time of debt entry that they have a legitimate business relationship with the debtor and that the debt is genuine. Switle acts as a technology platform and agent of the merchant. All messages identify the merchant's business and are sent in connection with a genuine commercial obligation.

5. Data Security

All data is stored on Supabase infrastructure with row-level security. Debtor phone numbers are only accessible to the merchant who entered them. Switle administrators do not have access to individual debtor details. All API communications use HTTPS encryption.

6. Data Retention

Merchant accounts and associated debt records are retained for the duration of the merchant's subscription and for 7 years thereafter for financial record purposes. Merchants may request deletion of their data by contacting us at privacy@mtejabot.com.

ClickPesa: Payment processing and splits

Supabase: Database and authentication

Groq/Gemini: AI conversation processing

8. Your Rights

Merchants may access, correct, or delete their data at any time through the dashboard settings or by contacting privacy@mtejabot.com. Debtors who wish to stop receiving reminders should contact the merchant directly to resolve the underlying debt obligation.
